SYL name is made from two words "PSY" and "Limitless" representing Artist's name phonetically.
"SY" represents "PSY" with silent "P" which is ending in "L" reflecting Limitless
Artistic meaning: SYL - Limitless Imagination!
Artist spent childhood travelling places in India and experiencing art in Temples, Palaces, Caves such as Ajanta, Ellora And Khajuraho. These early experience lead to an understanding of evolution of art within Indian Subcontinent.
While pursuing masters degree in Engineering at USC – Los Angeles, SYL picked up interest in Art during the period of recession around 2008.
Initial Experiments involved painting Animals and Face using Oil Pastels and water color on the walls of the artist’s room.
Painting on wood using water colors was also experimented during these years with dropping water techniques & Oil Pastels.
Artist learned a positive lesson after loosing art work and continued exploring techniques with water colors, sketch pen and oil pastel on Paper – Facial Dynamics, Lightning strikes.
During these creations artist also traveled to various parts of United States and explored nature. Further expressions started with reflection of feelings on Small Canvas pieces using oil pastels – Lake with energy Vibes. Currently Artist is expressing emotions using Acrylics, Sketch pen and oil pastels on Canvas: Winter Aurora’s, I4NI, Never Been To Niagara, Shiva, World At State Street.
Bright Colors in Artist’s Paintings are blend of some intense feelings experienced in everyday life involving current topics such as Energy, Environment, Technology, Space, Religion, Society, Mathematics, Physics, Business and Media.
